The Ultra Canbus Ballast is a standard size ballast (3.5 x 3 x 1 inches) that has room for the higher quality chips and capacitors allowing for quicker startup with less current draw and longer ballast life. Test installs showed that the Ultra Canbus Ballast had sufficient mounting room inside the BMW E90 and E92 bumper. The Ultra Canbus Ballast is the only ballast we have found that works on the majority of the 2006 - 2007 E90 BMW's with the difficult canbus programming. Although this kit will work on many of the 2006 - 2007 models the overly sensitive computer in these models may still cause errors in some 2006 - 2007 cars (only) so please be aware of this before ordering.
