The extremely efficient and super bright LEDs used in these bulbs are the result of new LED technology developed in 2013 making them brighter then typical LEDs. The new technology reduces power consumption in these Subaru BRZ PSX24W LED bulbs while increasing output. The new design also includes light deflectors that help distribute the light more evenly around the reflector of the housings they are used in also increasing the efficiency and reducing the speckled look often seen when using PSX24W bulbs with multiple LEDs.
